Privacy notice
Last updated 4 October 2026. Plain-English version. It covers people who sign up on this page and people we email about the pilot.
Who we are
Oliver Blunden, trading as Support Labs, UK, is the controller of the details described here. Contact: sales@supportlabs.co.uk. 1 Gardener Hope Cottages, Tonbridge, Kent TN11 9QJ.
If we emailed you: where we got your details
We found your business on the Care Quality Commission's public directory (Contains CQC data. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0), checked the company on Companies House, and took the email address from your own website. We hold: business name, its address and town, type of care service, company number and status, the registered manager's name if listed, the business email address, and a record of what we sent and any reply.
We email only limited companies and LLPs, at most twice (one first email and one follow-up), and only about this pilot.
If you sign up: what we collect
- Your name, job title, company name, company number (if you give it) and work email.
- Your answers: roles you're hiring for, number of care workers, hires a month, how you screen applicants now, and whether you'd pay £29 a month after the pilot.
- The link tag you arrived from (for example "email"), so we know which channel works. This website sets no cookies and doesn't track you across websites.
We don't collect any applicant answers, video or audio at this stage.
Why, and our lawful basis
- To contact care businesses about a product that may help them, to run the pilot sign-up, and to decide whether to build it: legitimate interests (offering a relevant business service to businesses, with an easy way to opt out). We've written down why we think this is fair to you; ask us for a copy.
- To set up your pilot: steps before a contract, and the contract.
Who else handles your details
Only services that help us run this, under their data processing terms: Formcarry (sign-up form), Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare Pages (this website) and GitHub (storing our working records). Some may store data outside the UK; where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data (for example the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge). We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
We use AI assistants to help draft emails and sort replies: Anthropic (Claude), which may process the text of your replies in the US. A person reads every reply and makes every decision. Nothing is decided about you automatically.
How long we keep it
- If we emailed you and you didn't sign up, or we don't build it, or you don't join the pilot: deleted by 20 January 2027 (3 months after sign-ups close).
- If you join the pilot: for as long as you're in the pilot or a customer, then deleted within 3 months.
- If you opt out: we keep only your email address on a "do not contact" list, so we never email you again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, limit how we use them, or (for details you gave us when signing up) get them in a portable form. You can object to us using them at any time, and if you object to marketing emails we will always stop. Email sales@supportlabs.co.uk or reply "stop" to any email. We'll act on opt-outs the same day and other requests within one month.
If you're unhappy, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
